Brynarth Country Guest House is nestled within the beautiful countryside in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, amongst some of the most stunning scenery in the Ystwyth Valley.
This 17th Century farmhouse and it’s barns have been tastefully and sympathetically renovated in keeping with Brynarth’s age and time in history, with 2 acres of bluebell woods included within it’s 8 acres of grounds.
Brynarth is ideally located to access not only the many attractions in Ceredigion and it’s beautiful coastline, The Ystwyth and Elan Valleys but is close enough to easily enjoy the bustling coastal towns of Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and New Quay.
We are mid-way between the towns of Aberystwyth and Lampeter and are an ideal place to stay if you are visiting either Aberystwyth or Lampeter University – indeed we are a favoured haunt of many of the students’ parents who prefer not to stay in the town.
We have 9 cosy guest rooms each full of character, 2 rooms in the main farmhouse and 7 rooms just across the courtyard in the Old Dairy. All rooms are centrally-heated, have radio alarm clocks, and hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities, Welsh toiletries and egyptian cotton towels. Rooms are serviced each day to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Free WiFi is available in all of our bedrooms and in the guest lounge and dining room.
Breakfast is included within the price of your room and home cooked evening meals with vegetarian options are available by arrangement. All food is freshly cooked to order and we pride ourselves on offering as much local, fresh produce as we can. Our guests can enjoy their meals in the warm and welcoming farmhouse Dining Room.
In our guests’ lounge you can enjoy the warm welcome of the log fires in the inglenook fireplace. The exposed beams and old stone walls create a haven indoors – whatever the elements may be doing outside!
To enhance the evenings, there is a licensed ‘snug’ bar off the main lounge offering a good range of beers, wines and spirits.
You can also enjoy table tennis, pool and darts in our games barn, here there is also a cosy TV lounge with large colour television and comfy sofas.
