Two waymarked forest routes, both starting at Tynbedw picnic site grid
reference SN694716. There is also a pleasant short out-and-back walk by the
Ystwyth River, in Grogwynion Nature Reserve.
TYNBEDW FOREST TRAIL
2.5 miles, with 400 foot of climbing.
Attractive mixed woodland, with paths by streams and a pond, and viewpoints.
Located a little over 11 miles (18 km) out of town along the B4340 and a further minor road.
COED CRAIGYROGOF TRAIL
1.5 miles, with 200 foot of climbing.

Follow the B4340 past Trawsgoed and the two turnings for Llanafan then over the bridge and turn left. Pass Tyn-y-bedw farm, and the site is a little further along with a car park on your left (Map marker indicates Tyn-y-bedw farm).
