Walking Trails - Plynlimon
Plynlimon is the highest mountain in Mid Wales (2468' / 752m) and from its summit can be seen the peaks of Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, as well as the whole sweep of Cardigan Bay.
There are no waymarked routes up Plynlimon, and a map, compass, and navigational skills are essential, as well as suitable clothing and footwear.
The best routes up are from the end of the minor road by Nant-y-moch reservoir (grid reference 775880) and from the Dyffryn Castell hotel on the A44 (GR 775817).
