Black Lion Hotel

Black Lion Hotel is a boutique hotel in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains, passionate about providing the most memorable stays, the most enjoyable adventures.  With our 5 rooms, we welcome walkers with muddy boots, cyclists with bikes which we can secure overnight, families with up to 3 children in our family room, owners of furry friends and anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, come and rest, or walk, or ride a horse, or swim in the sea, watch Red Kites fly high, play and discover myths and legends on our doorstep.

Each room is ensuite with its own front door, 3 are within the Coach House, 2 in the main building but with its own access which means you can come and go as you please.

We have 2 dog friendly rooms and can provide dog beds and bowls, plus plenty of dog towels for those who discover our local river beach!  The walks round here are wonderful, especially the stroll to Coed Y Bont, the community woodland, which is a dogs (and human!) paradise.

Buffet breakfast is included in the price, or order a full ‘Welsh’, we can also provide evening meals and pack ups for your travels
