This is a well-waymarked 15-mile route on very scenic minor roads, suitable for conventional cycles.
There is quite a lot of uphill from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge, which is 200m above sea level, so a popular method of doing the route is to catch the narrow-gauge railway (bikes welcome) up to Devils Bridge, and then to cycle back down.
